2. What the service is

PanResize is a free tool that crops, resizes and compresses photos and signatures, and combines Aadhaar images into a PDF, to match the upload specs of the NSDL (Protean) and UTIITSL PAN portals. All processing happens in your browser. How we handle data is set out in our privacy policy.

3. Not a government service

PanResize is independent. We are not affiliated with, authorised by or endorsed by Protean eGov Technologies Limited (formerly NSDL e-Governance Infrastructure Limited), UTI Infrastructure Technology And Services Limited (UTIITSL), the Income Tax Department or any Government of India body. Using PanResize doesn't submit, process or speed up a PAN application. You still apply on the official portal.

4. Your responsibilities

• Only process documents that belong to you, or that you have permission to handle, for example as a parent, guardian or authorised agent.
• Use genuine documents. Don't use PanResize to alter, forge or misrepresent any identity document or photograph.
• Choose the correct portal preset (NSDL or UTIITSL) for your application.
• Check your files against the instructions on your portal before you submit.

5. Accuracy of specifications

We build our presets from the specs published by Protean and UTIITSL and re-check them regularly. But the agencies can change their rules without notice, and acceptance of an application depends on things no tool controls, such as photo quality and document verification. We can't promise that a file made with PanResize will be accepted.

6. No warranty

PanResize is provided free, "as is" and "as available". We don't guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every purpose.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, PanResize and the people who run it are not liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. That includes rejected or delayed applications, fees paid to any agency, and lost files.

8. Ownership

You own your photos, signatures and documents, and the files you create from them. The PanResize name, logo, website design and code belong to PanResize.com and may not be copied without permission.

9. Changes to the service or these terms

We may change, pause or stop any part of PanResize, and we may update these terms. If we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page. Using the service after that means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
